At.mosphere is the newest craze for fine dining in the UAE, situated on the 122nd floor of the tallest building in the world – Burj Khalifa. With space for over two hundred customers, the venue boasts a principal dining area and a number of private rooms for the more discerning diners. The menu is a modern take on traditional European gastronomy, appealing to a wide variety of tastes and preferences. Also people wanting to visit for the view rather than a full meal can take afternoon tea.
The venue may be spectacular, but all diners are expected to pay through the nose for the privilege of eating at such heights. With a simple cup of coffee setting you back around five pounds, the price for a full mean in the private dining area may deter most visitors, setting each person back by over one hundred pounds.
Before the venue was opened, the 360 restaurant in Canada held the title as the world’s tallest venue. However, At.mosphere looks set to change high tea forever. The chairman of the company which developed the venue, Mohamed Alabbar, has commented: "At.mosphere is about offering the best in dining. Every aspect of the restaurant has been carefully designed and executed - be it the elegant decor, warm ambience, food choice and service standards."
