Pakuma is a brand inspired by the backpacking experiences of the companies owners across South America. Their travel luggage needed to be fit for purpose:- durable, spacious, light and comfortable with efficient use of storage......the rest is history.
The PAKUMA™ brand was based on a Pemon word ‘to carry’. To remind them always of what we first set out to do, make objects that did their intended job, to remain very reliable and go on working time after time. The Pakuma logo is also fitting to that experience. It was presented to one of the companies owners by the wearer of that broad smile. It is said was that the bright red jasper will keep the owner in good health. As for the symbol, he would keep the owner safe on his travels and future adventures.
